I used to work in CFD. Out of UMiCH, you're going to probably look into working at CD-Adapco which is nearby in Plymouth or direct for one of the Big 3. I worked at CD for a few years and ultimately left for a higher paying position with Booz Allen as a consultant. Most of the project work there was very heavily driven by the Big 3. At the time, I only had a BS degree. Most of my co-workers were non-US natives; there is some money to be made with government contracts due to ITAR restrictions. Ann Arbor is awesome, Pittsburgh also pretty cool. Name brand recognition from UMiCH in this area is supreme.

Has anyone here applied to the Engineering Management & Information Systems DocEng at Southern Methodist University? Went for a visit about a month ago, was told to apply a few weeks back and now waiting. Hope I hear some good news soon... Looking for any insight that may be out there, thanks friends!
