Strengths of application: my application stressed the topical nature of my research, and my interest in interdisciplinarity Weaknesses of application: i didn't have any references from anyone i am currently working with Level/Form of Departmental Support (i.e. SSHRC workshops): N/A -- i am at an american school, so i applied directly to sshrc. my department hadn't really heard of sshrc before University at the time of application: CUNY University where you will take up the award: CUNY since i applied directly to sshrc, i was given an interim score sometime in february. it was 24.9/30. my final score. however, was 19.5/30.
