Callmejuliette- Congrats on your acceptance. I am at CSULA, just finishing my 1st year in the MSW program, forensic concentration. Your questions, answered: -How big is the social work cohort? what about concentrations? Full time cohort is about 60 students, with about 20 per concentration. -How are field placements determined? 1st year field placements are assigned by the MSW department. The field office will email you more information about your placement during the summer. You have a tough choice to make, but I do recommend CSULA. It's the only school in the area with a forensic concentration and you will have a lot of interaction with professors and classmates. The program is challenging, but you will learn.
