I just received an email from the grad chair of the Philosophy department at SFU telling me that I received SSHRC!

Yes, underneath the status column, beside the school name, it says:

Ineligible (First-class average)

I received an email telling me that the status of my application had changed. Like Adelaide9216, it appears that I didn't meet the first class average for one of the schools I had applied to. Seeing as how I had already declined their acceptance, I am pretty okay with that!

If anyone on here has applied to the University of Victoria's MA Philosophy program, keep an eye out for an email. I just received an offer from their program.

I applied to the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, and Western University, and so far I've received offers from Simon Fraser University and Western. Simon Fraser was my first choice, so it looks like that's where I am going to end up this year!
