Dear Chemy, I certainly do understand your frustration. I was in a similar position a few years ago. I was going to leave my program when I talked to a mentor. She helped me turn everything around. Now, I am actually writing my thesis on Mentoring and Educational Outcomes. I felt so isolated, but having a mentor made all the difference in the world.
