  1. Hi, I am international applicant from India and wanted to apply to the top 10-15 MS ECE programs. I have a 3.6 GPA and a bunch of projects under my belt. Will the low quant score of 165 affect my chances ? I couldn't give my best on the test day and inadvertently committed calculation errors, I guess. To add to my misery, slots for a retake are over. Would be great if you could provide some insights.
  2. Hi, I have the Aristotle GRE Verbal Grail for sale in Bangalore. Ping me if anyone is interested. This is one of the best books out there for Verbal preparation - my first hand experience PS: The book is good as new, not a single pen/pencil mark or crease on pages !
  3. Thanks for the reply Sara I need more feedback guys - kindly help me out here.
  4. Hi Guys, I have heard from some folks that Aristotle Prep's Verbal grail is awesome for verbal section (especially the RCs). Unfortunately I am taking my GRE in about 20 days and have no time to order the book, receive it and study from it. I was wondering how the RC99 document that has been floating around in internet forums is ? It is mainly for GMAT and I found it to be akin GRE standards. Any thoughts on this one ? It is quite a lot of practice and was wondering whether or not to do it; I really don't want to waste my time on unnecessary stuff before the exam ! Cheers PS: I stay in Bangalore and would be grateful to ANYONE here who is done with their GRE and who has the Aristotle Prep Verbal Grail for the GRE for sale/rent/lending. Please help a brother in need guys
  5. Hi Guys, I gave my GRE yesterday and scored a 322 (Q 165, V 157). This was my second attempt, after having scored a 322 (Q 166 V 156) in my first attempt. I am counting on an increase in AWA (4.0 from last time), let's see how that goes though. I was planning on applying to US schools for MS in Electrical Engineering - including Stanford, CMU, UTA, Michigan. I have a GPA of around 9.1/10 (converts to about 3.55-3.6 on the 4.0 scale) from a reputed university in India. I have some research experience during college and have been working in a related industry for about a year now. I fear that my GRE scores don't compare to the scores of students that have received admits from these top universities. I need opinions on whether or not I should retake the test for the third time. I think I am capable of doing better - I scored more in my PowerPrep II tests before the exam, but couldn't give my 100% during the actual test in my second attempt. Need your opinions and advice on how to go about my application - should I retake the GRE (Cons: time spent on preparing, plus dates don't look available before November, 2013) or go ahead and apply with the same GRE score ? Thanks
