Accepted offer from Johns Hopkins MMI. I have to send rejections letters to Pittsburgh and Mt. Sinai now. Hopefully, if they waitlisted people, someone takes my spot! Any advice on the rejection emails?

Which MMI weekend did you interview? I just got accepted there. I am leaning towards there but still haven't officially made my decisions. I am going to doublecheck my PIs of interest have funding etc. I will let you know if I decide otherwise. Best of luck! Hope you get in!

Rejected from University of Washington Microbiology post interview by email. I would have declined anyways. Looks like I am officially moving to the east coast from California, whether that be at Pitt, Sinai, or Johns Hopkins.

I am interviewing with them Mon/Tuesday. They still haven't given me any information about lodging (and I am coming from San Diego). I also know a few students there and they all say their grad office is rather unorganized, which might contribute to delayed responses. They were also looking at apps in waves.. so I don't know.

Just got a voicemail from University of Pittsburgh IBGP with an acceptance. I haven't been able to listen to all of it as I am currently teaching right now! I interviewed on Jan 24th. I posted stats.

Anyone else interviewing at UPitt IBGP this weekend? If you already interviewed there, roughly how many interviewees were there?

Not very descriptive information but I talked to my old labmate who is a PhD student at Mt. Sinai now and a professor just reviewed my application and was impressed. Also, if they want to give any interviews, you should hear this month (shocking).

Ha! Just got a call from an unknown south san francisco bay area phone number. Picked up thinking that maybe there was a chance it was Stanford, but it was some guy named "John" from Toyota.. wrong number. Once again, I am distracted by grad school responses and I need to be writing my M.S. thesis and submit it to my committee on Thursday!

Got my JHSPH MMI Interview rescheduled. They have a 2nd interview weekend Mar 6-8. I would imagine they are still sending out responses because it seemed like everyone who heard thus far was scheduled for the Feb 6-8 weekend. Good luck everyone!

Sinai - Micro University of Washington - micro Interviews at UPitt and Johns Hopkins so far. I confirmed UPitt for weekend of Jan 24th. I haven't heard back from anywhere else yet. Already there is a dilemma: Harvard's interview dates set as Feb 6-9th or Feb 27-Mar 2nd. Stanford's is Feb 26th-Mar 2nd and Johns Hopkins(invited for interview) emailed me saying Feb 6-8th (with no suggestion of any other dates). Any advice or suggestions? Best of luck!

I got an invitation to interview for University of Pittsburgh Interdisciplinary Biomedical Graduate Program (IBGP) today. I submitted my app last wednesday and they were due on Sunday. I know they tend to interview a lot of people due to the program's diversity.
