Just wanted to pop in and say that I just got my first acceptance! One of my top programs, with full tuition and a TA position. AHHHH.

Figured I'd check in again. All but W&M done! And that one needs to be mailed in.

I'm interested in Reconstruction-era cultural and social history. I'm applying for my M.A. so I don't need to narrow it down too much for right now

I'm applying to Penn State, Southern Maine, Alabama, Kansas, William & Mary, Southern Ontario, and Oregon. All American Studies MAs except for Oregon, which is a cultural history MA. I took the GRE a few weeks ago and am totally happy with my scores, so that's over with! Next step is to start editing the paper I'm going to submit for my writing sample.

Figured it was about time to start a topic for those of us applying for Fall 2014. I'd love to hear where people are applying and have a place to commiserate come February/March
