I need HLM 7 to do nested model regressions. The error that is coming from HLM 7 is that the number of variables exceed 8 digits and HLM 7 can't use them. My identifying codes already have been truncated to 8 digits and I remove any variables, irrelevant to my analysis, that might caused any issues. The same issue keeps showing up. I have run out of options on what to do. Does anyone have suggestions to what I can do to my data files so HLM 7 can read take them in.
