Dear mysteriousmartel, a lot of people in LEAP worry about their background ( I did too). If you can generally do well on the calculus course then you should be fine. It gives you a flavor of the type of classes you will be taking. Some LEAP students take only 3 classes a semester(preferring to concentrate on a few courses). You will find that you won't be any more disadvantage from the undergrads. Just be aware of the pre-reqs. Some you will need, some you won't. Don't take differential equation unless you have Calc 2. What specialization are you looking at?

Hi mper376. I just received my Admit Email for Spring. My GRE was 158 Q and 164 V. I also got an A in the Calc 2 class I took in Metropolitan College (extension schools of BU)

Do you guys know the exact mechanics of the recommendation if it's done online (vs Paper)? Do they send an email with a link to the Professors? or will they upload a PDF? I am interested to know because the current online system's recommendation is turned-off until September. So I'm not sure if it would be better to use paper . Thank!

Do you guys have any tips on the statement of purpose? Was it geared towards on 'why you made decision to join Leap and what you want to get out of it' or is it more ' i want to research Topic X and work with professor Y'? In terms of the recommendations, did you guys get your boss to recommended or concentrate more on former professors?

Thank you guys for the input. I m international and work full time so taking community collage would be difficult. I did take calc 2 a while back in the metropolitan extension school. What is the most common schdule people follow? 3 classes per semester with no summer school ? Thank!

What is the regular phasing of the courses? I 'm planning to apply for Spring 2015 class. Can you do 4 classes in Spring, 4 in summer and 4 in Fall? Basically finishing phase I in one year? or would that be too much or too little? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks !

Do you guys know the average GRE of the leap program? I took the GRE recently and got a 164 V 158 Q and I'm not sure if I should retake. Any help would be appreciated.
