I got accepted to Fordham's MA program on 3/11. I applied directly to the MA, though. 

[UChicago MAPSS]

I'm also interested in hearing more about MAPSS. I applied to a ton of PhD programs…waitlisted at 1, waiting to hear from 1, rejected from all others. In addition to MAPSS, I also have MA offers at UMass and Brown (waiting to hear from BU and BC, as well as funding at UMass)…while some of these programs are a better fit/closer to home, the 90%+ success rate for funded PhD offers that MAPSS boasts seems hard to turn down...

I posted on the Results thread that I had a missed call from NYU the other night…no voicemail, no follow up email, no phone call since then. Do you think it's fair to call back at this point? Or should I just wait it out? The last thing I want to do is pester anyone...

So…I had a missed call on my phone tonight from NYU, but no message, no email, etc.

 

Seems a little late for an admit or waitlist? NYU is my undergrad institution, so maybe just a friendly rejection. Thoughts?

I really loved Kaplan, but mostly for their online resources and practice sections. I mostly used their verbal practice, so I can't comment on the strength of their quant preparation. I stuck to their writing strategies as much as I could and scored a 5.5.
