  1. I'm joining the UCLA reject-club.... did anyone here get accepted? Not sure if I may have missed something. Got an interview at Colorado -Boulder and am on wait list at Cornell. Congratulations to all those who are receiving acceptances!!! And if you didn't get in this year, there is always next year. This process is so subjective and competitive so just keep trying if you feel that it is something you want to pursue. And my 2 cents is... go where the money is!!! Grad school is no guarantee these days. Some wise advice that I received recently from a fellow seasoned artist is that you don't want to go somewhere where you will be in a worse position than you are in now... and mostly he meant financially. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear
  2. Hey! Congratulations on all the acceptances coming through! My status for MFA for Columbia changed from yesterday to today... to just 2014 Painting On the brighter side I was contacted today for an interview at Cornell!
  3. Hi everyone, Excited my SO received interview request at SUNY Purchase via email a couple of days ago. Interview is March 12th. Hopefully he will attend in person, but there is option to Skype.
  4. Lots of activity happening! Glad to see things are starting to take shape for many. May we all get great funding and end up in the place that will serve best. Good luck and good timing to everyone!
  5. This is my first post on Gradcafe. However I've been perusing the forums for at least a year and a half. I'm getting ready and psyched up for applying to MFA programs for 2014 so I figured that this topic could be a good starting point. My work is here www.tompazderka.com the statement and everything else is there as well, including a link to my blog. Any feedback is appreciated, especially if someone has any ideas which schools might be a good fit for my work. My list of schools, which is incomplete, is below. I'm really interested in small programs that focus on interdisciplinarity, research, criticism and philosophy of art. University of Chicago MIT Cornell Northwestern Stanford Boston University UC Santa Barbara Rutgers CalArts UCLA
