I'm graduating at the end of this school year ('13-'14) and am applying to grad schools. Because I didn't do as well on my GRE as I would have liked (155V & 149Q) I'm mostly applying to MA programs, but my long-term goal is PhD. I will have strong letters of recommendation and a strong CV as well as research, grading, and lecture experience during my undergrad and a good GPA (3.7). The only thing holding me down is my GRE score.
I feel like I've hit a brick wall when it comes to my school search. I'm applying to The American University in Cairo, George Mason University, and the University of Arkansas and have a few others that I'm considering (Syracuse, Wayne State University, University of Colorado - Boulder).
My research interests are the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, specifically inter-Arab relations in the Middle East regarding the conflict; and have recently gained interest in political economy.
Does anyone have any suggestions on other schools I should look at? Thanks!
