I was talking to a girl who just finished her first year at dal and she said they won't be making a Facebook group until they get the class list. Someone could probably make one in the mean time though so we can get to know our classmates!

hey I also have yet to hear from alberta and I just checked my bear tracks and it still says decision pending. I'm sure it's a rejection, I know people who have been accepted and who have been waitlisted. I've arleady accepted another offer so I'm not too torn up about it but Good Luck to you! I hope you hear some good news

are there any other Dal students on the forum? We should get a facebook group started too! I'm excited to meet everyone

I know a girl who declined her Dal acceptance a few days ago so that's at least one spot that will open up for someone on the waitlist

to all those wondering if you have to sign the form for dal you do! when I accepted my offer I just emailed saying that I would accept and she said once they received the letter she would change my status in their system.

A girl at my school emailed dal yesterday and she thinks that the send out offers for the positions they have and then when people decline they send out more offers, so I wouldn't give up yet.

I emailed Mabel as well and she told me I was rejected, also I still haven't heard anything from Alberta so it looks like I'll be headed to Dal! Congrats everyone on your acceptances today and good luck with the tough decision of choosing a school! It's been such a long process and I'm glad the waiting game is over!

I'm basically in the same position as you, I'd love to be home for a few years but I don't know yet if I could pass up a two year program.. Leaning towards Dal though, mostly cause I could save a lot of money living at home

I have a friend who found out last monday in the afternoon, and another girl i know found out on a wednesday around supper time so it seems like it could happen any time

just wondering if you are planning on accepting Dal's offer or waiting on other schools? I'm still waiting to hear from alberta and toronto but i'm 98% sure i'm going to accept dal's offer and i'd love to get to know other people in the program!

my status for mcgill just changed to "in review" as well! I'm prepared for a rejection, I didn't think i had a good chance there anyways But congratulations to everyone else who was accepted! it's so exciting to know you're actually going to be an SLP

I checked my application status after I received the email and it still say items incomplete, written notification to follow so it hasn't been updated yet. I would worry too much yet though

I also know someone who got accepted to uofA today too. If you haven't heard anything yet I wouldn't freak out yet. On the boards from last year it seems like a few people found out early and then a week later more people found out, so there's definitely still a chance you'll get in! Good Luck to everyone still waiting to hear! The wait is painful and any bit of good news helps

I actually got an email from DAL today telling me that my application has been sent to the department of graduate studies and they are recommending me for admission. I also know another girl who got this email today too.

I also applied to Alberta! I hope we heard sooner than they heard last year. The wait is torture!

has anyone here applied to maine and have you heard anything yet?

2014 Appy, I am applying to DAL, it's my first choice actually. I'm nervous though cause I have a decent gpa but not that many volunteer hours. Good Luck to everyone applying

Hi everyone, I am also applying to speech for fall 2014. I'm hoping for dal or maine. I also want to apply to some ontario schools and I've been trying to contact UofT but I haven't gotten any replies of them. Is anyone else having difficulty getting a reply from them?
