It probably means you aren't at the very top of the list. Doesn't mean rejection, and it doesn't mean no funding (though it isn't necessarily a good sign). I know the feeling, I have been waiting to hear back about PhD from there and a few people have posted acceptances as far back as two weeks ago...
...is there anything to be done aside from cutting losses and taking it for what it is?
I had a (skype) interview with my top school yesterday for a TA position. The TA position is for teaching a foreign language and was conducted in said language. However, I was incredibly nervous and I ended up rambling on in incoherent sentences. It was a train wreck and I wasn't able to adequately show the competency and proficiency I feel I have in the language.
Part of me wants to e-mail the interviewer/person in charge of these placements and express these thought/concerns but I also feel like that might just come across as amateur/pitiful/weak and only hurt my situation.
Any thoughts on this at all? Advice would be appreciated.
