This is my second time. I did a bit better than last time but not good enough I guess. Do I do this again next year?
I'm 35. Single. And I fear I have put my life on hold for what appears to be a club that does not seem to want to let me in.
Sweet.
I think interview requests went out a couple of weeks ago. That's what someone posted on StudentDoctorNetwork.Net
In the Psychology PhD/PsyD interview invite thread
Sorry. I didn't get one either. Sucks. :/
Hello. If someone out there can help me with this problem I would really appreciate it...
I graduated from undergrad in 1998 with a 2.8 GPA (ouch!) My major back then was Television Production. I have since gone back to school for an MA in General Psych. I am graduating with an MA this year (12 yrs after my undergrad) Here are my stats:
MA GPA 3.9
GRE 1200
Psy GRE 670
2 articles published
1 poster presentation
1 yr clinical experience
2 years Research experience in three separate labs
Master's Thesis
My letters of recommendation should be good.
Do you think my undergrad GPA in '98 will rule me out of many schools? I'm planning on applying to mid-tier schools for a Clinical PhD.
Thanks for your input!
If you don't mind me asking, what was your GRE breakdown, each of you who have been replying to this thread, in order to have been admitted into these PhD programs?
Thanks
