  1. Based on last year's forum and the few crumbs of info my FPA gave me... 1) Alternate-accepted changes don't really begin to get going until the 2nd week of May, and 2) they are greatest in number towards the end of the month. Behhh! The waitttt...
  2. I hope your status changes Normando - I was rootin' for ya!
  3. Mozartgirl - I just want to thank you for being so genuine. There is too much insincerity in this world, and your heartfelt cheers for everyone are so positive and refreshing. If you don't get principal then there's definitely something wrong with the system! Olioliwoo - Fingers crossed we hear of a promotion for you now that $ appears to (maybe?) be rolling into France. Need some good news for USF, dang it! You probably have a better shot at getting promoted than me because France is a much larger program than Moldova (only 2 ETA's). Also, read this on cracked.com and thought of you with your FL stories, haha: http://www.cracked.com/article/211_the-6-most-horrific-lessons-ever-taught-in-elementary-school/ Lastly, shout out to kdzhexon, who I reached out to about my alternate wait for Moldova and could not have been any nicer. Thanks, girl
  4. Selected as an alternate for Moldova. Sorta keeping up hope, but expecting that this is it. I don't know why, but I had a sinking feeling that I was gonna get alternate. Gahhh, MORE anxious waiting. Olioliwoo, doesn't look like us Bulls are doing so well, huh?
  5. Okay, I just spent some time rearranging our spreadsheet so the countries are in alphabetical order This will make it easier for us to quickly locate our countries once our list starts to get longer. Remember, if you need to add a line, just look at where it needs to go alphabetically, click on a name above/below where it needs to go, and then then click insert--->row above/row below as applicable.
  6. Hi all I'm Tamara, a senior finishing up dual degrees in English and music education at the University of South Florida. I'm pursuing an ETA in Moldova. I received a Gilman this past summer to Russia, and have caught the travel/research/teaching bug BIG time! Has anyone else checked out the projected statistics for your country and track (ETA, study, research)? For me, it's a perfect 2/2! *Crosses fingers* Here's hoping! http://us.fulbrightonline.org/eta-grant-application-statistics
