Hmm the fact that it's far away is not nice, but then again I like the idea of being in an international community. And maybe, I'm just being naive by thinking that I would have time for all this.. And what about the taxis? Would it be too expensive to use them to return back home occasionally? Are they convenient to use? Please don't get me wrong, I'm not rich or anything but it's just, the city where I come from is a huge one and we have no other means than a taxi to go back home after a night-out. And thank you for the suggestion! Think I might give it a try, but in case it doesn't work, I would like to keep the Copeley option open

Hello everyone, I will also be attending UVa this year! I just got an offer from Copeley. I'm an international student and because I have no chance to come and see the houses before I arrive to Charlottesville in August, I'm thinking about playing safe and staying in Copeley for the first year. I'm just worried about the fact that it might be too boring up there. Is getting around at night really impossible or is it manageable? I was thinking it would be fun to live with other grad students but I'm a bit confused right now. Thanks in advance!
