Just got rejected from NC State.

Muzili, persistent_homology, I was told that they are still deciding on the funding opportunities. Didn't mention any date though. If any of you get any more details please post it here. Seems like OSU is my best bet now after all the rejections. Hope to hear good news from NCSU.

I just got a rejection from Minnesota too. Muzili, what are your other options?

It'll depend on the kind of funding available. I am anxiously awaiting results from NCSU and Minnesota.

Thanks a lot Cyberwulf. I agree with your remark about ISI. I hope having better grades from University of Mumbai can compensate, in some way if not totally, for this. Also, when you say "Reaches", do you mean that i have a fair chance there and departments like Rice and Iowa should be my safe bet. Or should I go even lower??

Experience of using Multivariate Statistical techniques like Multivariate Regression Analysis (Logistic & Linear Regression) and Clustering Systems to build Predictive Models and unearth other insight-driven conclusions. Experience of working on R.
