  1. Yep it was her! It's alright though I can wait it out
  2. Gah I know I feel the same! I actually emailed them too a week and a half ago and they didn't reply
  3. through email & that's okay! Hopefully you'll have better luck
  4. Yep was rejected last week from the population health stream, I think Wednesday or Thursday.
  5. Good to know, thanks for sharing that!
  6. Thanks so much! I think queen's might be my top choice because it's much closer to home but I'm thrilled about the uSask offer because it seems like a good program! Assuming I can survive 2 winters in Saskatoon
  7. Thanks a bunch guys! My stats may give you some hope, they're not quite as impressive the stats of others. I'm graduating with an honours specialization health sciences with a certificate in practical French, my overall average is around 81, and for my last 2 years around 83. I have some experience from a practicum placement I've been doing at a local hospital that deals with rehab for people with acquired brain injuries. I submitted my application on January 15th, so hopefully admissions are on the way for the rest of you!
  8. Holy smokes that's unbelievable!!!! Thanks for your reply!
  9. Hi all- congratulations to those who have received admission and all the best to everyone waiting! My usask status has changed to "decision made: dept recommended- conditional". Anyone know what this means?
  10. Okay that's reassuring, thanks a lot your your speedy reply! I know how you feel, I also try not to get my hopes up as a sort of defence mechanism but it's not working very well because assuming I won't get in doesn't feel very good either. I think it's going to make for a long couple of months. Best of luck!
  11. I also have this problem, my first year stats mark is less than desirable, partially because I was under the impression that first year marks didn't count for anything. I've applied to University of Alberta, University of Saskatchewan, Simon Fraser, Queen's and Memorial so as far as I can remember these didn't have a specific grade stats requirement. I looked at the Lakehead program and decided not to apply because it's online and I haven't liked my undergrad courses online. I don't know which schools are more or less competitive (but if anyone does please share!).
  12. Has anyone had any trouble with the University of Alberta application? My references are showing up as outstanding even though they've been submitted and my references received confirmations for them, one of them was showing up on Monday and isn't now... I haven't had any success contacting the school about it
