If a particular school asks for a "10 Page Philosophy Writing Sample" as part of the application, should the sample be 10 pages at most or can it be longer?
To my knowledge, the test is no longer adaptive. The old version of the test was adaptive. And you can get about 9 or 10 questions wrong according to the score conversion table at the end of the ETS prep book here:

I scored a 161V, 161Q and 4.5W on the GRE recently. My GPA and letters of recommendation will be strong. I am wondering if I should retake the test or devote the time to my writing sample that I have yet to complete. I am an undergraduate student and will be applying to PhD and MA programs in Continental philosophy.
