Received an admission for Biostatistics PhD from FSU without financial support. This is the only offer that I have received so far but I am not sure if I will accept it. I have received a lot of rejections so I am not sure if I can get one offer with financial support in the future. Worried. Please advise me if you have any information about FSU Biostatistics PhD.

so it is weird not being rejected from brown biostat phd yet. saw some rejection postings here. lol

no interview invitation for rochester stat phd. seems to be another rejection. then 7th rejection. lol

checked jhu application website and saw the notice below. seems to be another rejection then sixth rejection. sad. "Thank you for submitting an application to the PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) program in the Biostatistics department. The Admissions Committee has reached a decision on your application and the Department will send communication directly to you. Please contact the Academic Administrator, Mary Joy Argo in the Biostatistics department office at 410-614-4454 or margo@jhsph.edu if you do not receive a letter within the next two weeks."

got rejected from ncsu stat phd. fifth rejection and no admission. sad.

just got a rejection from u of michigan. will never forget this rejection, michigan!

just got rejected from minnesota biostatistics phd program. three rejections so far. the outcomes seems to be related to my very low gre scores. sad.

omg! did not get any invitation. too much sad...

i am very desperate about one acceptance this month.

some applicants got invited for the open house from jhu and it seems to be related to interviews for the program. the deadline for jhu biostatistics is jan. 15. i have no idea how jhu can process this important procedure earlier than the application deadline.

not a good sign since i got rejected at the first stage. my application might be totally wrong or so. one reference might be super bad or so. so worried.

you seem to be an international applicant. it must be very competitive. 10-20 admissions would be made out of 300 applicants.

no result means 'not admitted at the first round, wait listed' or 'will receive a rejection in a couple of days since there were too many rejections to send in a day'. feel very uncomfortable.

how did you get the result? by email? do you think i can check my application status online too?

uw stats results may come out next week or next next week i guess. u of minnesota and ucla results will come out in a couple of weeks too. i have applied for all of these programs. hope to get at least one offer this month then i will feel safe.

congrats! i did not receive any result from u of washington yet. i saw some admission postings in the section 'results search' so i expect my result might come in a couple of days or it is wait listed. i would like you to decline your ncsu offer for others soon.

Hello! I have applied for a lot of PhD programs in Biostatistics. Currently I am preparing for an interview but I am not sure if an interview will be a required application process for many schools. "Of course, I prefer to be admitted without an interview." Do you think it will be an onsite interview or skype interview? Any comment about interview would be very much appreciated!
