Masters in Public Policy GRE admission scores anyone???

You all seem well-versed on the subject of admission entry, so I'm going to ask for advice as well:) I am applying to MPP programs, and couldn't break the 600 mark on the GRE verbal, although very close. Meanwhile, I received a 750 on the quantitative section. I was a teach for america teacher, and now vp of a non-profit. I am looking to get into the top schools (mainly ucb), do I re-take and boost the verbal, or spend my time elsewhere? HELP!
