That will be great... but say... person A already accepted a offer from University X... then Purdue sends him acceptance with that message(no aid info).. then person A accept Purdue's offer and withdraw University X offer... then after April 15, if person A won't get any aid from Purdue... then ???????

same here.. I emailed them too.. but i think.. if we get in.. then they won't give any aid.. so a rejection is better than that.. what do you think?

Yes... you are right.. someone also told me that one.. but the problem lies on VISA.. in our country(other countries either) a full financial support from the university helps one to get F-1 VISA easily.. without that it's not easy to get VISA... that's why :cry: .... lets hope for the best... thank you so much for your help...

Hey guys... Could you please tell me, how many of you are still waiting to hear from Purdue, CS PhD? And how many of you are going to attend Purdue? Their dead line was on December 15, and now April 02, more than 3 months. Don't know how long I have to wait... Thank you so much santana for your reply... yes... undoubtedly Purdue is far better than Rochester & Northeastern in every respects... but Purdue's CS dept is not that much big, last time they took only 25 students.. as I'm still in their wait list so i don't have any other alternatives as my other(accepted) universities(Except ETH-Zurich) are not that good comparing to Purdue, Rochester, even Northeastern... please pray for me... Thank you so much knowledge for your wish.. good luck you too... "they only take 10"-- you mean only 10 international students? Yes.. I also agree...
