  1. Does anyone have any idea what the top 10-40 grad schools for international relations are? Perhaps someone knows where I can find the rankings. And don't say the Foreign Policy magazine because I've seen it, and it offers no descriptions of their programs. Also, what is the likelyhood of getting into a top 20 program with 550-600 in both verbal and math? I have a 3.5 from University of Arizona Near Eastern Studies program (top 5 in the country), speak Hebrew and am already working on Arabic, spent an entire year abroad in Israel (including the duration of the Second Lebanon War) and have had some very good internships.I also have some economic classes under my belt and going to take a statistics class in the spring.
  2. Apart from those scholarships, what if I just want to go on my own to study Arabic? What is the best school for the best price? By the time i'm ready to go i'll have maybe a year and half of MSA. Any suggestions?
  3. Hey guys, I am interested in going to the middle east next year to study arabic. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is the best program? I have only one year of MSA under my belt. Please give some reasons as well as I'm trying to figure out whats best for me. Rob
  4. Hey guys, I'm interested in a M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies. I want one that will allow me an easy transition into government agencies or Think tanks. Does anyone know which are the top schools for this, also does anyone know where I can find a list of the top programs in general? What does it take to get into these places, I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arizona's Near Eastern Studies Program, speak Hebrew, am working on Arabic, and lived in Israel for a year. Hope someone can shed some light on some of this stuff. Thanks.
