    My PhD advisor is only 2 years older than me, and will be a very interesting dynamic.

      Thanks! I'm a little bit of an older student (i'll be 30 in October) and she's at the beginning of her career. i'm actually really excited how close in age we are. I think i will feel really comfortable with her ie if i'm totally freaking out and feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, i'll tell her. :)
