  1. I actually visited UChicago last weekend. Great place. I took the cab, which costed a lot, while shuttle is a much better choice (like ~1/2 price).
  2. Same boat =(
  3. I'm actually a UNC undergrad xD so I got kicked out to other places for grad school (most likely MIT)...UNC haven't even looked at my file yet since I'm their undergrad =( Anw, we had a huge incoming class last year. The year before that (the one where I wasn't too lazy to show up at year-start TA meeting), I noticed ~70 peeps there, who are pretty much all first-year. A lot of them are international students too (like myself)
  4. I'm actually from UNC; last time I was in the area (last week of Jan), the guy from the Chem office (a friend of mine actually) told me they were still going through the process. A little dated info but it might help
  5. ikr =( But that's awesome, I'll be there too. I'm polymer so MIT had the lead from the start anw xD I actually know a girl (2 classes ahead of me) who's in Swager's group, also inorganic. I can hook y'all up See ya in Mar.
  6. Hey YaBoyAR, Look like we are on the same boat, UCB was the last lingering name on my list too. Are you coming to visit in Mar? Which area of concentration are you in?
  7. Hello everyone, Apparently I'm another forum stalker, but here's a question that's been bugging me. So Harvard only release its acceptance in 1 day yes? The result search last year had people commenting so (they sent/called right after the only day HU released acceptance and got replied that they already released all acceptances). So if I don't hear back by now it's safe to say I'm out? Anyone visiting MIT and CalTech? since MIT only had one, which one are you guys going for CalTech?
  8. Hey I'm chem and swapping would be awesome. Lemme know
