I have a grad paper where I need to interview an SLP - but I don't work in a school now and don't have a way to reach one If someone can respond to these questions, that would be great 1. How did you come into your profession and what educational steps did you take to become an SLP? 2. What are the best parts of your job, meaning, what gives you the most fulfillment when working with students? 3. How would you handle a student who is openly frustrated and gives up, even during testing? 4. What types of assessments/therapies do you administer, how do students respond, how does that testing impact the student and the IEP? 5. What qualities should a successful speech and language pathologist possess? What expectations do you set for students?
