Has anyone received funding information for Princeton yet???

Yale: $31,000/year

That is weird. On Monday I got my official letter in the mail with funding information and stuff. I'd email them if I were you. On another note, I was just accepted to NYU. Seems like its coming down to MIT and Harvard. Losing hope on getting those acceptances.

Yesterday I got a letter from Yale stating funding ($31,000/year). Now I'm waiting to find out funding for Princeton AND to hear back from MIT and Harvard. Congrats to those who have heard from them already. Hopefully they keep sending some acceptances soon.

Just got admitted to UPenn. Got an email describing funding and visitation weekends.

Feb 28th? That's so far! Then again next month will fly by for me. I'll be teaching three courses. AHHHHH!!!!!

Yeah I received my official Yale admissions letter today actually. It also said to check the website since the decision has also been updated on the online application site.

LOL I was just curious. I'm not expecting getting accepted to MIT. But if I do, that would be sweet.

Nice! Good to know they are meeting.

So far based on my acceptances I think I will wait until April to decide. But I do agree that if there's a definite no then letting them know early will help others that are waiting.

Is this Upenn or Penn State that you are talking about?

I heard from Yale on January 10th. Yeah I posted my results on the results page.

@Buylotusonitunes: Yeah why don't you consider reapplying somewhere in a bigger city. For example, how about NYU or CUNY? Living in NYC as a gay chemistry PhD student has its benefits. I am personally considering the same thing.

Got an email saying I was accepted to Columbia University! WOOHOO. My dream school.

It's still early but I'm sure we all want to hear NOW!!!!

I applied for Inorganic. UC Irvine asked for your TOEFL? That's ridiculous. Normally if you get an advanced degree (masters) from an American university, the TOEFL is waived. What are you applying for?

Damn! Not long ago I made a post about getting into Princeton. I just got an email saying I was admitted to YALE University!!! What a DAY!!!!!!!!

So after checking this website every 10 minutes and thinking that a PhD in chemistry was not going to happen to me, I got an e-mail saying that I got into PRINCETON!!!! WOW! Overwhelmed with emotions. Feeling sooo much better, so happy! Best of luck to all other applicants.

I'm in a similar boat. I had to apply as an international student although I went to HS, and did my undergrad and masters degree at an American college. I just hope we hear back soon.

I wish I could relax!!! I'm trying to focus all my energy on finishing a project so that I could start writing the article, but I still find myself checking this website for updates!!!
