  1. Hi everybody, My name is Rawan. I need your help in rating my essay. And how can i use the livegrader. The question is : Question: The perceived greatness of any political leader has more to do with the challenges faced by that leader than with any of his or her inherent skills and abilities. Write a response in which you examine your own position on the statement. Explore the extent to which you either agree or disagree with it, and support your reasoning with evidence and/or examples. Be sure to reflect on ways in which the statement might or might not be true, and how this informs your thinking on the subject My response: Being a leader basically means you are able to lead. Nobody reaches leadership unless he/she has what it takes to be there. However, not every leader is a great one, specially, in politics field-. What makes us stand as a special individuals is what we face to acquire our peculiarity. Challenges faced by the political leader enhance the abilities and skills he/ she already have in order to be a great, remarkable one. Skills and abilities are essential to create a leader, but challenges are what make him/her a great one. Edifying by parents is basic to determine how well a person will develop. For instance, two twin brothers raised by different parents, undoubtedly, won’t react the same way for situations they face. As parental discipline is part of the experience we face in life, then it is considered a part of life’s challenges. People acquire a major part of their personalities, in my opinion; it is not just inherited abilities and characteristics. It is noticeable that the strongest people are those who face more obstacles on their life than people with smoother life experience. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. For example, new graduate starts her/his job. She/he starts Weaker and intuitive, but situations and obstacles they face makes them act wiser. Effective leadership is a course offered on a lot of university and that alone speaks for the subject. It is believed that it helps students to enhance the basic skills of leadership. However, if we took a group of students from the same class, we will notice that they may react the same in similar situations initially. But, the more experience they have, the more distinct their reactions will be. Making mistake once teaches them how to avoid them the next time. So with time every one will run a different gamut of obstacles, creating different plans to face them. Tenacity, Strength and shrewd thinking are essentials abilities to create a leader. However, they can’t guarantee a great one. Skills and abilities are the starting point of a long run to make a seminal politician. Both inherited skills and acquired ones play great rule in creating a leader, but challenges fortified a great experience and wiser choices.

  3. Hi everybody, could you please rate my GRE essay in argument essay. I appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. The topic is: A recent study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention found that employees with paid sick leave are 28 percent less likely to be involved in a work-related accident than employees who do not receive payment for sick leave. Researchers hypothesize that employees with unpaid sick leave feel pressured to work during time of illness for fear of lack of pay. On-the-job accidents are then spurred by impaired judgment or motor skills due to illness or illness-related medications. The highest-risk occupations, such as construction, showed the highest discrepancy between paid and unpaid leave. Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to be answered in order to determine whether the researchers’ hypothesis is reasonable. Be sure to explain what effects the answers to these questions would have on the validity of the hypothesis. My Response: The Memo is discussing the importance of paid sick-leaves on employee’s safety. It includes that companies that have paid sick-leaves tends to have less related injuries. According to the memo, the non-paid employees will be under economical pressure, so they will work under illness. However, the memo includes no evidences to support this argument, and it doesn't take into account the payment influence on the companies' financial plans. First, the memo is discussing the issue from an employees’ point of view, neglecting the influence it has on the company itself. How is the company affected by such policy? Who will pay the company back for the negative impact of sick employee’s absence? Who will be covering the leaved employee? All the previous questions were not answered in the discussion. On The other hand, the company will be under the pressure of hiring somebody to cover the absent employee work. The memo was so cursory taking the issue from one point of view. Second, most companies have their own policies about sick leaves. Not all sick leaves lay under the same categories. Illness could or could not affect the work required from the employee. There must be a regulation to categorize that. The memo is so generalized about illness types and their influence on the work atmosphere. It assumes that every illness can cause a loss in concentration, leading to a higher injury rate. It should have into account how situations are not always the same. For example, IT employee work will not be affected by a broken leg, unless the company's building is not prepared for handicapped employees,. On the other hand, process engineer who is always moving will, totally, be impaired by such illness. As it currently stands, the memo claims that non-paid sick leaves will create a higher injury rate for sick employees. It lacks the evidences on how this claims was reached, and other factors in this issue. It needs to clarify its claims and to be more convincing on how it concludes that sick leaves should be paid.
  4. HI, My name is Rawan and i am requesting if anybody can help me by rating my GRE argument essay. This is my first essay. I appreciate any comment. the topic is "The city council of Smithville has instituted changes to police procedures to improve the visibility of the police force. These changes require that the town hire more police officers, budget more funds for police overtime, and direct officers to patrol significantly more often on foot rather than from their patrol cars. These improvements in visibility will significantly lower the crime rate in Smithville and make its citizens feel safer My essay: The city council of Smithville is increasing the police visibility in order to lower the crime rate in the area and make it feels safer. However, the memo includes some actions that could be done, without any evidences for their efficiency. Furthermore, it doesn’t consider other factors that could affect the safety aside with the low police profile. It includes some solutions for the problem without evidences to prove their efficiency in solving the low safety and high crime rate in Smithville area. First, the memo suggests that the low police profile in the area is the reason that makes it dangerous, neglecting that other factors could affect the safety, for instance, the efficiency of the current police system there. It doesn’t take into account that current regulation and arrangements of police in regards to this area could be inefficient. In such case, increasing the officers working will not solve the problem; on the other hand, it could make it more intense. Second, the writer claims that the current police officers are less likely to work overtime without any evidence that this is true. Increasing overtime payment would increase police members’ tendency to work overtime, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t working enough before. Another solution the context suggests was directing officers to petrol more often on foot rather that in patrol cars. This action, most of the times, could lead to the complete opposite, whereas, people will be alarmed that the area is not safe instead of increasing the safety feeling. For instance, if I wake up and find an officer in front of my house, I would feel that some crime has happened in my neighborhood. This could distract anybody and kept him feeling less secured. The Smithville city council memo stats the problem of the low safety and high crime rate in the area, suggesting that this is an effect of the low police profile. It includes some solutions for this problem without evidences on their efficiency. The memo needs to state how those suggested actions solve this dilemma.
