I know of one person who has. The dept. pays for your first 3 years though, so it's not a bad deal for the PI anyway.

Heard from a professor at UCSF iPQB yesterday! Woohoo!

I enjoyed it. Nothing particularly exciting but I definitely like the program and the research that's going on. Hopefully we'll get some decisions this week...

I can't make it next weekend either. I told them I was free any time after March 13th. I'm thinking they'll probably end up hosting a few people every weekend for the next month or so.

Yeah man. It looks like we may have an adventure getting to New Haven...

I also just got the acceptance call from WashU! I interviewed on Jan. 10-12.

Congrats for real then! Just to confirm, you applied to the Biological Sciences department? And you interviewed last weekend?

The interview went well! In the past, they have only done one interview day. However, for reasons unknown, they decided to split their interviews into two days this year. In the first wave of invites, the gave us the choice between the first or second interview day. However, I know that they haven't filled their second interview day yet. As far as I know, in the next couple of days they are sending a first wave of acceptances to those who have interviewed and also planning on inviting people to their March interview session. I sent them an email requesting my application status earlier this week and have heard nothing back. They seem to be a bit of a black box.

Welp. I emailed the Stanford Structural Bio administrator and she responded by OFFERING AN INTERVIEW!!! Freakin awesome.

I just sent an email to Stanford Structural Bio to inquire about application status. In other news, I just got an invite to UCSF iPQB! Feb. 6-7 or 13-14.

I haven't heard anything past the initial Yale BBSB invite either. On an unrelated note, no one's heard from Harvard MCO, right? The first interview date is January 29 which leaves them only 21 days to plan it all...

There are two now and the first says neuro so i'm hoping they're both neuro.

I've tried calling the UCSF iPQB program coordinator a few times, but have not gotten a response. Just FYI. Has anyone else heard anything?

Does anyone know if the UCSF BMS rejections are separate from the iPQB program? UCSF's organization confuses me.
