Hi,
I recently got an admit from Information Science School at Cornell (Degree: Masters in Information Science), with a deadline of 31st January to submit the statement of intent to join (or reject) with a deposit of $500.
I have applied to a few other schools, which might not even send me a decision before March. I have the following concerns:
1. Cornell has a very good brand, but I am not sure how mature the Information Science School is? Does anyone here have stats about the school? (admission criterion, selectivity, ranks related to other schools like Carnegie, Georgia, Washington etc)
2. Till what date should I wait and see if I get an admit from any other school? IMO, I should simply gamble the deposit amount, and wait and watch. (But its always good to get a feedback from others).
Thanks
