  1. Im a bit confused about how many GPPI essays there are. The online application only refers to the SOP: A 500-word Academic Statement of Purpose is required for application to your selected First Academic Program. The personal statement should address your intellectual interests, academic and professional objectives, and proposed topic(s) of graduate study. Some programs have additional guidelines for submission of the statement of purpose. Please review your program's admission requirements in the Online Graduate School Catalog for details listed by specific graduate programs. Once you have reviewed the requirements, please use the button below to upload your document. This document can be of any standard type (e.g. Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, etc.) Your document will appear to the admissions committee in .pdf format and will retain the formatting that you have used. Please do not send hard copy versions of this online personal statement. However, when you go the Online Graduate School Catalog the requirements include a Program Essay: M.P.P. - ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Application Materials required: Application Form Non-refundable Application Fee Statement of Purpose* Program Essay* Official Transcripts (all prior institutions) Official Recommendations (3) GRE Score (or GMAT) TOEFL/IELTS (please see below) CV/Resume Apply to this graduate program using our online application form, located at: http://grad.georgetown.edu/pages/apply_online.cfm *For additional application information, please review the M.P.P. / GPPI Application Requirements webpage at: at: http://gppi.georgetown.edu/academics/mpp/admissions/12129.html Finaly when you go to the MPP/GPPI Application Requirements webpage there is nothing mentioned about a Program Essay. Im guessing the only essay is the SOP, but anybody else have any info? thanks the hatun ashnu
  2. Here is some info I found by searching: If anyone else has anything to add it would it would be appreciated.
  3. I am applying to the Univesity of Maryland school of Public Policy and I was wondering what they exactly mean by preferred deadline. The website does not explain it, however, other grad programs at UM say that it is for financial assistance. I was wondering if I can just assume that is true for the public policy school too. Also, it seems that April 1st is pretty late. Thoughts?? From: http://www.publicpolicy.umd.edu/prospective/application.html APPLICATION DEADLINES Fall – All (but EXPM and POSI) · Preferred Fall: December 15 · International: February 1 · Final Fall: April 1
