Another week of nothing for me. No interviews, no rejections, nothing lol.

You aren't alone on that thought! What do you plan to do if you don't get in? I am already trying to set up contacts to work in a lab in the meantime. I am moving from Florida to New York this summer, so it's like starting over from day one with my life, lol. Then I am going to apply to the New York area programs again next year. Because of my family situation (older, married with a kid) I am limited to just that region (which is unfortunately highly competitive). I'll take another shot at this next year, and then after that I need to go for plan b and move on.

If I don't get in my plan b is to get a job somewhere that will pay for me to get my masters and maybe reapply in a couple of years

At this point, mostly to keep my mind off it, I have resigned to the fact that the only time I am going to hear from any schools is in March with a rejection

I am trying to stay positive, but I woke up to an empty email box again this morning. Still no word....from anywhere. Nothing like getting an ulcer for Christmas!

Today is a new day, maybe all of us that haven't heard yet will hear now.

 

As a side note, finals being over has made the waiting so much worse. With nothing else to do I just check these forums and my email constantly

Has anyone heard from Princeton yet? The results search from last year show that many of their interviews went out before xmas. There have been 2 posted on the results search, but I haven't heard anything ): Anyone else waiting and/or know anything?

Question: Is there anyway to know when the application reviews and interview invites will be sent out by programs?

 

Answer:

 

There is no set schedule for invite notifications—invites are managed by each group individually in advance of their interview weekends. As noted below, some groups do make their interview information public, including CAMB. 

Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis between late January and April 15. All final decisions will be available from BGS by April 15, though the vast majority of applicants will be notified well in advance of this date.

While the waiting game is terrible, I at least take solace in the fact that no one has heard from the programs I applied to yet
