Accepted Penn CAMB offer! Woooohoo. Philly here I come. @kevintoy
-
You interviewed at those places and I think that you should trust what you think and go with that
-
Oh god I had a dream that I got invites from Yale and Standford :/
-
I am so worried about back-up plans. I am an international student and I can't go back home to work because we do not have positions that would help me to strengthen by experience. I am guessing that the back-up options would be: apply to schools with later deadlines and jobs/research positions? Anyone aware of anything else?
EDIT: Just got my rejection form Berkeley. Email told me to login to check status of my application.

I understood her to mean 15-18 matriculate. So if it's 80 total and maybe 30-40 offers, that's no so bad I suppose. About 40-50% chance for anyone interviewing.
Well not everyone who is interviewing will have the same shot at getting in. Don't the programs rank candidates? I know of a few that do.

I think Biology@Princeton is done sending invites.
-
Just got my Stanford interview!
Congrats! They just emailed you so late? Nice
-
Stanford Cancer Biology invite on the results page, who was that? Ahh
-
Does anyone think that Princeton MolBio is done sending out invites too ?
This is turning into a nightmare.
-
Yea, I'm pretty sure that's it for Yale. Hoping for the best...
If I end up with only this Penn interview, then I will have to try my best to rock it!
-
I asked and they said all invites were sent in Dec.
Sighhhhhhh :'(
-
Has anyone heard from UPenn CAMB cancer biology yet? I know I've seen some UPenn stuff, but I'm pretty sure each subsection has its own admissions committee.
Yea I received an invite on Dec 16.

Stanford will send out invites starting Jan 6 (next Monday). Sorry about the rejections everyone. UCSF rejected me too =[
-
Got that evil email from Rockefeller too. Wish it was an interview!

Princeton MolBio usually has two interview dates, two weeks apart. I know people there and I can tell you that the people who are offered interviews are the ones who will pretty much be admitted. If you interview at Princeton MolBio and don't get admitted then you will probably be waitlisted.
-
What is your take on being offered the latest/later interview dates from a school? Do you think that receiving an interview date later on means that you are not among the top choices of a program?
