  1.

    Hey!

I am also considering Penn for a very different program Bioengineering. But I am also going through the process of figuring out if I want to live in Philadelphia and if so where is a good place to live and how much would it cost.

So... That being said I was wondering if you accumulated any info on where is the best place to live around Penn ( cheap, safe and nice)??

    Thanks!!

I second this! Any help would be appreciated :)

I will be in Philly this Fall.

  2. I am so worried about back-up plans. I am an international student and I can't go back home to work because we do not have positions that would help me to strengthen by experience. I am guessing that the back-up options would be: apply to schools with later deadlines and jobs/research positions? Anyone aware of anything else? :o

EDIT: Just got my rejection form Berkeley. Email told me to login to check status of my application.

  3. I understood her to mean 15-18 matriculate. So if it's 80 total and maybe 30-40 offers, that's no so bad I suppose. About 40-50% chance for anyone interviewing.

Well not everyone who is interviewing will have the same shot at getting in. Don't the programs rank candidates? I know of a few that do.
