I think we should hear from them by the end of Feb. They seem to be reaching out to those admitted by phone. I think I've been rejected from there. It is a very competitive school to get into.

First official rejection from OSU. I'm very bummed. 9 more decisions left :/

Still no word from NYU. I'm getting pretty nervous :S

My OSU notification still says "pending." I am trying to remain hopeful. But its kinda hard. Also, I applied to Emory but didn't hear back from them about an interview or anything. In all likelihood this means 2 rejects.

People who heard back from OSU - did you get your decision from appstatus.osu.edu or my.osu.edu ??

For one school, I changed the spacing of my writing sample to 1.15 and submitted it. I don't think its a big deal. If anything, it might make your paper stand out and get noticed. And if it is truly any good, I think the committee might be willing to overlook the formatting error.

i was also wondering what you guys were considering doing if we don't get in anywhere... coz thats a legitimate concern lol If nothing works out, I'll be living with my parents. And that will suck a lot. Also, are any of you people aware if grad schools test for weed?

Hello all! I just turned in my final app to English lit programs. I'm kinda sad i didn't discover this forum early on lol. But I wish everybody best of luck! i hope we all get in somewhere with a dope stipend and no debt lol
