for the people waiting: don't give up just yet! i didn't hear back from columbia when they sent out their major batch of invites and i asked several people whether i was rejected or not. i heard from the program manager-type person that they had sent out all their invites and that i was wait-listed (sad but not the end of the world given my other invites)... and then this sunday, they sent me an invite! so you never know, especially with other applicants' interview schedules being finalized, people may drop out due to scheduling conflicts and slots might open up or something. good luck to those still (anxiously) waiting!

has anyone heard back from ucsf about booking tickets and stuff?

good luck! harvard is done with invites, as is university of washington i believe? MIT and columbia are still going through applications though, so don't give up just yet? also expanded MIT interview/tour dates: mar 6-8.

ucsf interview dates: Friday, February 14 - 15, 2014 or February 28 - March 1, 2014.

i chose cellular and molecular neuroscience as my first (and only) research field of interest.

mit BCS interview date: march 7 (won't lie i did punch the air and jump around a few times. ugh this waiting/hoping for invites is mad stressful.)

joined just for this thread haha. anyways, i got a call from northwestern on the 12th, and a call from emory on the 13th. northwestern interview dates: jan 16-17, jan 30-31, feb 20-21. emory interview dates: feb 6-8, feb 20-22
