  1. I've already signed the contract for one program, but found out that I got into a better program the day of the national deadline. Is it that hard to get out of a program after the national deadline? No monies have been transferred from my fellowship to the bursar yet,
  2. 12 applications 1 acceptance 1 implied rejection 3 in the air I'm so jittery I can't even focus on my thesis... HELLLPPP
  3. Has anyone heard from Yale's English/African-American Studies program?
  4. I know Yale sent out rejections today, however, has anyone heard anything about their combined degree applicants? I applied to the combined English/African-American Studies degree program and still haven't heard anything.
  5. I've only been accepted to one school out of 12. Should I feel like a total dud right now, lol?
  6. I'd take that as a good sign bc I was denied from UVA last week. No news is good news!
  7. Did Maryland call people? I still haven't heard from them either.
  8. Am the only one who still hasn't heard ANYTHING from UT-Austin? No acceptance or denial... My application still says "in review."
  9. Now people are posting acceptance to Vanderbilt. The anticipation is killing me!!!
  10. Yeah, I haven't received an email and my status still says "submitted." Not sure what's going on there...
  11. Thanks! This is my first time going through this, so needless to say any personal email that I receive, I might think more of than I should, lol!
  12. Quick question... one of the departments that I applied to contacted me and let me know that one of my recommendation letters didn't upload. My adviser quickly resent the info. However, is this usually a good sign? I mean, would the department usually take the time to email applicants that an item was missing from their application if they weren't interested? Thanks!
  13. Quick question... The department of one of the schools that I applied to contacted me letting me know that one of my recommendation letters wasn't in. I let them know that my adviser had just submitted it. Do you think this is a good sign? I mean, do departments usually inquire about missing items from an application if they are not interested in the applicant?
