Hi,
I'm looking for tips on where to take online microeconomics and macroeconomics classes that aren't ridiculously expensive. I'm looking because I've applied to master's in international relations programs and (assuming I get in) will need to take both before August.
I live in DC and the community college here doesn't offer any online classes, so I'm looking at paying out-of-state tuition anywhere else.
So far I haven't found anything less than about $800 per course ($200+ per credit hour for 3 credits)
I would be open to an in-person class in the DC area, such as through Graduate School USA (which is a lot cheaper), but so far haven't found any that are on weekends, which is the only thing that would fit with my schedule.
I've missed the deadline for SAIS's combined micro/macro econ online economics course (which is still expensive anyway).
Any suggestions? I know there must be other people out there in the DC area who have run into this same question! Thanks!
