No notification of a waitlist and no contact on the part of the school.

I called and spoke to Ashley last Tuesday and was told that final decisions were already made and we would hear by the end of last week, but have heard absolutely nothing yet. This is very confusing as I was under the impression that the respond by date for most schools in the US was April 15. Was I misinformed about this?

Anyone STILL waiting on receiving a decision from USC but received an email directing them to fill out a FAFSA and an "enrollment and housing form"? Anyone still waiting for a decision from USC at all?

It happened to me today too! I received an email asking me to fill out a fafsa and an "enrollment and housing form" but haven't heard anything from them yet regarding a decision. Seriously confusing and cruel. Other friends applying to PhD programs did not receive emails like this from schools they haven't received a decision or were rejected from!

I honestly don't know if USC has finished sending out all of its interview invitations to international students yet, but I was told that they began sending them out to international students first.

Sometimes I regret not applying to more schools, but this is my first time applying. I figured that applying only to schools that I am absolutely in love with is ok for round one. If I don't get in this year, I will just have to expand my options for next.

I have a friend who received a similar email from USC a couple of days but for a different program....

I called again today and was told that no final decisions have been made. However, I'm guessing that I should also brace for a rejection letter.

In case anyone was wondering about USC interview invites, I called on Thursday to inquire. They said they are still in the process of sending them out to domestic students and not to worry yet.

Has anyone heard from the University of Washington in Seattle yet? Or University of Southern California?
