Hey everyone, Im currently a masters student in clinical psych and prepping to apply for fall 2016. This time around, I'm applying to both Psy.D and Ph.D programs. While I am aware of the main differences, i am having trouble writing the Psy.D POS. The Ph.D. was a breeze: emphasize your research interests above all else. I know i should emphasize by clinical experience over my research experience for Psy.D. programs, but to what extent? Do I need to say the people in the department i would like to do a dissertation with (all of the schools I'm applying to require a dissertation)? Im definitely feeling lost here so any and ALL insight is welcomed. Thanks all!
