Icelestial, my impression with bc is that they care about your community involvement than your academic performance.(just my opinions though...) I have a friend that got in with a 3.30 but she was very involved in her community. She also got a huge amount of scholarship. As for me, I have a 3.84 and many years of volunteering, interning, and work experience in the field of victim advocacy and domestic violence with children and families. If you have demonstrated your commitment to social justice as well, that should be a plus. My experience with the admission office was very pleasant. They are friendly and nice. I don't think that would hurt your application if you call and ask politely. :-)
