Well, my long interview season has finally come to a close! I committed to UC Davis' Animal Behavior Grad Group yesterday! Took a pay (and prestige?) cut by not choosing Pop Bio, but I really wanted to go where I felt happy. Hooray for being done and best of luck to everyone who still has tough decisions ahead!
Ugh! It's been over a month since my first interview and I did four in a row - still NO word from anyone. =( Why is it taking so long to hear back from all of these programs?!
Can I ask what you didn't like about it? I know all the grad groups are different and I had an awful experience with one, but great times with the other two....
Finally heading home after a not so hot interview this weekend. However, last weekend's interview at Davis was AMAZING and I got an official acceptance (sans financial info) this morning. Two more to go before deciding, but I'm having a hard time imagining anyone beating out Davis...
What are y'all doing in terms of attire? A number of my interview invites have told me to "dress comfortably". I understand there will likely be a decent amount of walking and am really not looking forward to wearing heels - but can I wear sneakers? Jeans and a nice shirt? Black plants and a nice blouse?
I'm E&E, which I think is a bit more laid back than the biomedical side of things. Any tips?
