oh well if it is the case then I hope everyone who are in the same situation has another option in hand now. After several months waiting, I never expect they would end it like this for us. Now that my applying season officially ends for me with a dramatic night, may the odds be in your favor with anywhere else u are waiting.

For me it was "Laurent Neury, PhD Academic Adviser Direction of Studies" the email is the admission email.

I think the email we have received has the exact wordings with the email someone who got admitted received earlier this month . So i believe there is no congratulation in the mail. I think we just have to wait for their official response. Either way, I am just disappointed with their administration after we have waited for such a long time.

ok finally i got an email of acceptance from IHEID said like this We are pleased to inform you that the Admission Committee of the Graduate Institute, Geneva has decided to offer you admission to one of our programmes in light of your excellent academic credentials. In order to learn more about this decision, we invite you to return to the online admission module (https://campus.iheid.ch/ISAP/!formInscrs.connection?ww_c_formulaire=ADM_2014_2015&ww_c_langue=en) through which you submitted your application. If you wish to learn more about confirming our admission offer and the different enrolment steps, our admission officers will be available weekly to answer your questions on the admission and enrolment procedure, during our online information sessions for admitted students (http://graduateinstitute.ch/home/admissions/meet-us/online-information-sessions.html). I heard only the email decision is binding, I think I should send them an email :-ss

thats very true, i should prepare myself for this. My mind and heart are already drawing me towards Columbia given that all my beloved friends are gonna be in the US, yet i just need to see the result on the freaking page so I can be completely happy to accept my other offer and move on with my life. For me till this point, it is only about the money, if they accept me without giving money then going to Colum would probably be cheaper. I really don't know what is taking them so long.

all these refreshing the follow up page is gradually irritating me....

I go to college in Boston, honestly living cost in Boston is quite similar to NY, but my weekly rent in London is my monthly rent in Boston! it's not just housing but food and transportations and others too. I believe it's for sure so much higher in Europe than in Boston!

that's very true! because I exchanged in my 3rd year in London, I really have to admit that it's too expensive, I am really considering the costs between NY and geneva if IHEID doesnot give me funding...well but i need to get admitted first :-ss

still waiting... have been wasting my time lately! now that i just got into Columbia University for MA in Economics and Education, at least I am not too worried if I don't make it to IHEID but tuition in US is certainly problematic

I am applying for that too and I wonder whether there are going to be many UWCs applying Nice to see a UWCer here! Are u UWC too? I am from the Costa Rica one! Let's wish us luck. I heard there are 3 scholarships.

yeah my rec letter just got in like yesterday, so I am not so optimistic about this. but think about it, wouldn't it too bothersome to process all the requests of people who might not get in?
