[NYU-Wagner PhD Thread]

Hi,

I got an acceptance a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying to decide between this, evans, usc and the harvard education phd. I'm still not sure where I'm going b/c of two body issues, but wagner is high on my list.

I applied there as well and am also finding the wait super annoying. I don't really have info to offer just solidarity.

So I'm a little curious what you're hoping to gain from this post. If you just need to vent that's totally legit. Applying to grad school is a totally nuts process. But the people in this forum aren't the adcom and you won't be able to argue your way into Cal here. The only other things people can offer is advice, but that doesn't seem to be what you're interested in.

Hi, I applied to the Wagner Phd program and I also got an email from the head of my specialty that I don't really understand. If you PM me I can give you more exact wording.

It's hard to tell, it could be a mass email but since these all had to be scheduled with profs and it's a pretty short turn around time the emails might also be staggered. Also might be that each subfield sent out all their emails at the same time, but the different programs are sent out at different times.

I just got an email requesting an interview for the Phd program. I think I'm going to go spend three days freaking out now.

I got waitlisted at Princeton's Department of Population Studies, I can't decide whether this is a good or a bad sign.
