I am an applicant for math PhD and have received an offer from Brown. My research interest is in PDE and harmonic analysis and I also applied for PSU. Brown ranks higher than PSU in US News for math. I checked the faculty members on their websites and it seems that there are very few professors in Brown working on PDE. If I receive both offer, which one is more suitable for me? What do you guys think?
