Yes !! I thought there was something wrong with me for feeling so burnt out and completely lazy. I have two more apps with deadlines in March and April and it is so hard to complete them. I would have three more to apply to but one school was asking for everything to be sent in one complete package. After hours of fighting with my printer I decided that school was not for me. :/

I've submitted about 4 out of my 8 apps. After submission one of the schools sent me instructions on how to check my application status (signing up for a school id and what not), while the other ones haven't. Is it normally necessary to have all app materials in before they allow you to check your status?

I'm applying to programs in Latin American Studies and/or Spanish, Is it necessary to have my foreign transcripts translated? (study abroad experience in Latin America for a semester) Some schools say it's necessary and others don't mention it, so how would I go about doing this? I'm assuming I would request the transcripts to be sent to myself rather than the university then have them translated, and then send them out? One university says that they need not be professionally translated but just accurately translated by someone who is bilingual. Any insight on this would be great, thanks.

I suspected all of this, but while searching the internet i've seen people mentioning some of these things in the SOPs and that made me second guess myself GRRRRR thanks

I'm on my 2nd draft of my SOP. My first one was horrible and now this one, although much more concise i'm just not sure about it. I haven't included any personality traits--because I'm not sure if i should? Should I acknowledge 2 low grades on my transcript, but also acknowledge how i've excelled in another area? Should I mention being Secretary of the Spanish Honorary Society, and volunteering I've done? Oh, and i also have no idea what to write for an intro So, if anyone wouldn't mind looking it over I'd appreciate it. THANKS
