  1. Got an offer at U Mass Amherst today via email to check the website. No word on funding yet.
  2. This is a great idea! I am unsure if funding has been mentioned, but funding should definitely be in there.
  3. 160verbal (84%) and 162quantitative (84%).
  4. I got an acceptance from UCSB a while back and I've seen that you haven't updated it on your blog. So there's that. Let me know if you want more deets to verify it.
  5. Anyone else feel like this Friday has been going painfully slow? Is it just me? Am I losing sanity in the waiting process?
  6. Well these Yale posts definitely look odd now. Didn't apply there, but I'd say it's worth a raised eyebrow.
  7. Best metaphor ever. Couldn't agree more.
  8. Hey all, just got waitlisted at Arizona. So hey, something is happening!
  9. Hey all, Just got an acceptance to UCI. A pretty informal but generic email from Casey Perin. Funding details to follow. Not much info besides that. Told to look in the mail for further details.
  10. Well obviously in my head the emphasis was not "only" or in "so far", but yes I meant to say that, so I'll take that as a compliment! And I totally mean no offense (in case any was taken). My previous post was just meant to shed some light as I know we all appreciate knowing what is going on.
  11. Hey guys, I'm one of the waitlisted applicants at UNC Chapel Hill. The email was super polite as I and the other post mentioned. It is a "short, unranked waitlist." I've only been accepted to Duke so far (which I am super excited for) but I prefer attending UNC, so I don't know if I will be taking myself off the waitlist anytime soon. Just filling you all in. Best of luck!
  12. Hi, I was the first Duke applicant to post up an acceptance on TGC. I didn't post here immediately because I got caught up at work. Anyways, my funding details cover five years and as my post in TGC mentions, I'm pretty damn stoked. My areas of interest include moral psychology and applied ethics. There is a solid chance I might accept, but as it is still early in the admission season, I'm going to hold off before setting my sights on any one school. Let me know if you guys have any questions and I'd be happy to clarify as best I can! Best of luck!
