Really sad management by them, considering they say mails are binding. So, I guess the people with "Under Consideration" are really the only ones who can still be optimistic considering what @beepbeepsparkle just said.

Also, I really request all those who have unfortunately received rejection MAILS (if any) to please mention it in the forum as well. That way we'll know to what extent this is a glitch or if it's actually a fiasco. sorry but I think that'll really help shed light on what just happened to all of us..

Not at all! Our email offers are nothing to go by at the moment. Firstly, they've admitted this a technical glitch so I think one can't believe the email or the online system for now. Secondly, none of us know whether we have received scholarships and many will base their decision on that as well. So, @JSS, nothing is lost yet and also sadly, nothing is found. It's the same old story until IHEID clarifies what just happened.

Same thing happened to me. Either the mail is a mistake or their infantile online system is messed up :S

@mych, It might be my despondency talking so late in the day, but I think you're spot on with your theory. I pray that it isn't but it sounds extremely logical. Also, I think they're considering applications region- wise (Americas, South Asia, Asia etc)

@shrew I'm switching from law. And about this quant test, is it like GRE/ GMAT level stuff or do you guys think it's far more basic?

Hey guys, I have also applied to the MPP program at LKY. You mentioned you weren't too happy with your essays, but if you have decent, relevant work ex, I guess you'll be fine. Do you have several years of work ex if you don't mind my asking?
