  1. Hey there guys! I would like to study economics/business in Germany, but I have a really big problem: I don't know where! After a lot of research - browsing through university rankings, asking for advice from friends who already study there and even taking into consideration the financial issue (Munich is out of the question because of that), I still ended up with a pretty extensive list of universities. As a last resort, I decided to ask you, guys, to help me compare these universities and eventually choose maximum 5 of them, cause there's nobody else more qualified to do this than the grad cafe. Here's the list: 1) Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg 2) Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main 3) Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin 4) Georg-August-Universität Göttingen 5) Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster 6) Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg 7) Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg 8) Universität Leipzig 9) Freie Universität Berlin 10) Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena 11) Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg 12) Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) I am also open to suggestions, in case I missed out on any great German university out there! Thank you in advance, Lia
  2. Leo_K, they got back to me but unfortunately they do not have any 100% English programmes. Camalari2013, I also reached this conclusion. I suppose I just need to start studying for the C1 diploma in German... inmytime, thank you, I checked it but apparently it's only for graduate students, while I'm looking for a bachelor.
  3. Thank you, I'm gonna e-mail them ASAP. However, do you know anything about Halle-Wittenberg or Viadrina? The latter is really new (founded in 1991) so they're offering a lot of bonuses, but I can't decide whether that's because they're at the beginning or people don't want to study there xD
  4. Hello guys, I'm having a bit of a situation here. I want to study Economics in Germany because I want to improve my German (which is below C1, therefore I can't apply for a German-taught bachelor's degree). However, to my surprise, I wasn't able to find any university with a good reputation which offers this kind of programmes (they were new unis or nobody's heard of them or both). Do I have terrible search skills or there is no good German university with courses in English? Please let me know if you've been in the same situation or if you have any information about the topic. Thanks in advance!
